2011 Porsche Panamera Announced with Brake Energy Recuperation System

Starting in August, Porsche will offer a new brake engery recovery system in all of the V8 Panamera models. By generating electrical power from the brakes, the energy recovery system is able to charge the car's battery. As a result, the technology also keeps the alternator current from having to charge the battery, which also provides more energy to the engine. Working in unison with the option of low roll-resistance, all-season 19-inch tires, the Panamera Turbo's fuel economy drops down to 11.3 liters/100km. At Porsche of North Houston, we are proud to provide you with vehicles at the forefront of optimum performance, as well as esteemed customer service.
