Porsche Breaks Record at 2010 Pikes Peak Hill Climb

The annual Pikes Peak Hill Climb took place this weekend in Colorado and a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup race car smashed last year’s record in the Time Attack 2WD class. Driven by Jeff Zwart of Woody Creek, Colorado, the car completed the 12.42 mile course in 11:31:095, breaking the previous record by 38 seconds. Zwart not only broke the 2009 class record but took the car faster than all but five of the entire field – three Unlimited Class and two Open Wheels cars, all with 600-horsepower. Check out the video below of Zwart and his specially-prepared Porsche breaking the record.
