The Grooviest Porsche We've Ever Seen

One look at Janis Joplin’s 1965 Porsche and you are immediately taken back to the modish days of the Seventies. Joplin apparently bought the used 1965 Porsche from a Beverly Hills car dealer for nearly $3500 in 1968. A roadie for Joplin’s former band, Big Brother and the Holding Company, painted the car in swirling psychedelic designs including images of Joplin and Big Brother on the front fender. You can also see butterflies, rainbows, and rolling hillsides within the colorfully detailed design. Can you imagine cruising around in this unique ride today? We personally think its pretty hip, and one of a kind – just like Porsche.
