Sandra Bernard Brings More Than 30 Years Experience To Our Accounting Department

For more than thirty years, Sandra has served as either an office manager or controller of primarily high-line automotive dealerships here in Houston.  As a valued member of our office staff, we're fortunate to have her to handle all of our billing and accounts receivables. His experience includes leading an independently held online company where he built an e-commerce automotive model from start up to $55M in revenues holding just about every position in the company including General Manager.  He joined Porsche of North Houston because dealer principal Todd Blue “understands the value of broadening the e-commerce model”.  Tino added that it’s “especially great here because we’re privately held and we have open and adept ownership willing to do what needs to be done to be even more competitive in the e-commerce market”.  Born and raised in Houston, Tino’s father emigrated from Greece which explains why Tino traveled and lived in Greece for three years. Meet our Service and Parts Director, Gary Schulze

Gary’s distinguished automotive career began in 1975 in Austin, Texas.  He came to Houston in 1990 with more than ten years experience with the Porsche brand to run a multi-line Porsche service and parts department.   The Texas-native’s thirty-six plus year career has been a series of successes holding the titles of Service Manager, Service and Parts Director, VP of Fixed Operations and ultimately General Manager and Managing Partner of a Houston dealership in 2005.  Gary joined indiGO Auto Group in 2011 bringing unmatched service and parts management expertise.  “Our goal is for each customer to have a completely satisfying and memorable parts and service experience with every visit,” he said. “We make it fun, professional, but most of all memorable.”  Gary’s enthusiasm about the car business is as infectious as his admiration for dealer principal Todd Blue. “I think Todd Blue and the organization is what the car business used to be like before public companies started to buy up dealerships.”  He added, “It’s an entrepreneurial experience here… Todd brings his philosophy and smile to the table with his managers and employees.  It’s not just a job, but a growth opportunity.”  On the weekends, you can catch Gary at his farm in Cat Spring, Texas, just forty miles west of Houston riding around on his green tractor and spending time with his two sons and two granddaughters.

Porsche of North Houston Welcomes Lamborghini Houston To Our Growing Automotive Family

Todd Blue, Chairman and CEO of indiGO Auto Group, announced today that the company has purchased Lamborghini Houston located at 13921 North Freeway in Houston, Texas. The transaction, which was completed on January 28th, 2011, is the second franchised automotive dealership Mr. Blue has acquired in Houston following the addition of Porsche of North Houston in January 2010.

IndiGO Auto Group currently consists of three automotive dealerships including Porsche of North Houston, indiGO Classic Cars and Lamborghini Houston. indiGO Classic Cars will soon relocate its operation from Kentucky to Houston to be integrated into the growing indiGO family of automotive dealerships.

“We couldn’t be happier about the addition of Lamborghini Houston to our group,” said Mr. Blue. “We’re thrilled to have previous owner Gary Seale join our company. He has tremendous knowledge of the brand and established relationships in the Lamborghini community.”

A life-long car enthusiast and collector, Mr. Blue added, “I can’t wait for our customers to see the products that Lamborghini has in development. Lamborghini’s state-of-the-art motorcars, specifically the new Aventador LP700-4 (arriving to our dealership this May 2011), which is the replacement for the Murcielago, is quite possibly the most advanced super exotic production sports car ever produced.”

The Ozark Tour: A PORSCHEcentric Good Time!

We’re happy to report that the 28^th Annual Ozark Tour was a great success! Porsche of North Houston sponsored this amazing event! Our very own Rodger Gay, Sales Consultant, and General Manager Kelly Wolf attended this amazing event! With 51 participating Porsches, it was a great trip! The tour went to Caddo Valley, AR and then went on to Nimrod Dam. This exceptional trip winded through the Ozark Mountains and allowed all participants to get a full Porsche driving experience!

Rodger said, “The weather phenomenal and everything worked out perfectly! The drive, the accommodations and food was great!” This is just one more event that makes Porsche not just a vehicle but an experience! 

Maisa Khalaf: Our PORSCHEcentric Finance Manager

Maisa was born in the Middle East and her family moved to Houston when she was two years old. She's lived here ever since. Her entree into the automotive business was in 2001 with a local BMW dealer where she worked her way up into the finance office in 2002. "Meeting people is my favorite thing about what I do for a living. Finding out what they do and who they are is fascinating." In her spare time, Maisa enjoys working out, traveling, and spending time with her family. She fell in love with Porsche when her friend owned a 2007 Cayenne and allowed her to get behind the wheel. He told her "to punch it" and her heart soared at that speed. "The more I drove that Cayenne the more I fell head over heels for Porsche.
